For the first time in history the Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament, has admitted two women  members into it's ranks. Up to now it has essentially been an "all boys club" but now that comes to an end as Condoleezza Rice and Darla Moore.

The club has been criticized in the past for not having any women members. Women have been allowed in and even played the course just were not memebers. Membership always said when the time was right they would admit women. I guess the time is right now.

Let's be honest golf has been losing players in the U.S. over the last number of years and needs help on all fronts. If this move sparks some interest with young girls to take up the game then I say it is a good thing for the game. What do yo think?
